Dan Growden joins the Own the Podium Speedskating Program

Toronto Speed Skating Club member, Dan Growden, is now training with National Team Coaches in the Own the Podium Program in Calgary. After skating with our club for one year, he learned enough to impress the coaches in Calgary. He will be working to earn a place on Canada's National Long Track Team. Dan is on an exciting journey: from NHL- expereinced professional hockey player to long track speed skater in just a year. Hey, it worked for Cindy Klaasen! The Cyclones are proud to be a part of Dan's journey and we wish him every success in the coming year.
